Exhib. “German Printmaking…” nr 9. Good impressions irregularly trimmed at the subject, of the only state (?). The engraved subjects seem just about complete but the margins of platemarks were trimmed; laid down. Complete set.

cf. Guilmard p85. Very good impression from a set of “Corbeilles” (?). Creases mostly marginal; a slight diagonal crease in the subject; small stains and dusty mostly marginal. Wide margins. Rare. Watermark : coat of arms of Le Tellier, (close to Gaudriault nr 132), ca 1680 and countermark.
A. Curtis nr 64 (II/III). Very good impression on china paper applied on wove paper, of 2nd state (of 3), before the change in the letter. Creases mostly marginal; small défects at the edges of margins. Plate to the set of six “marines”. Dry stamp of V. Morlot, editor.
Bartsch Ill. 1098 (165). Good impression trimmed in the platemark, with engraved number. Glued by the upper edge. Plate to the set of “Various animal hunst and battle scenes”, 1602
Delteil nr 23 (II/II). Very good impression of 2nd state (of 2), the modified registration, published in a brochure by A.Sennier on Olivier de Serres. Some very rare rousseurs claires and stains. Wide margins. Rare. Ex collection A. Sennier (Lugt nr. ).
De Grazia Bohlin nr 207 (II/II). Good impression of 2nd state (of 2), the date changed. Upper left corner turn off; some small creases. Thread margins on three sides; small margin at foot. Watermark : anchor (?) encircled and topped with a star. Plate forming frontispiece of “Opera omnia” by Aldrovandi in 1606.

Bartsch Ill. nr 30 (172). Good impression trimmed on or out the borderline, printed by two plates, one in light green, the other in black. Folds and creases mostly visible in raking light, some inherent at the edition; held by the left edge on a sheet of framing.
cf New Hollstein (van Ostade) nr 24 copy d. Very good impression. Slight oxidation of the sheet; some very slight creases, mostly one horizontal. Thread margins on three sides. Our engraving takes up that A. van Ostade which dates from ca 1652. The state of our impression is indescribed.
