Edition end XVIIth or beginning XVIIIth century. Wide margins. Les sujets représentent des plafond peints au château de Chilly, probably by François Perrier, for le marquis d’Effiat.
New Hollstein (van Dyck) nr 69. Very good impression of the last state. Slight marginal oxidation. Wide margins. Edition about 1720. Pieter de Jode holds in his left hand a sheet of paper and the engraver’s tools as well as a platemark are placed on the table.
I.F.F. nr 7-1. Very good impression on laid paper printed in colors, numbered and signed. Marginal tear skillfully restored at foot; marginal traces of adhesive and slight crease visible in raking light. Edition of 50 impressions. Good margins.
Exhib. “German Printmaking…” nr 9. Good impressions irregularly trimmed at the subject, of the only state (?). The engraved subjects seem just about complete but the margins of platemarks were trimmed; laid down. Complete set.
