Hollstein nr 127 (II/II). Very good impression trimmed at the limit of platemark at left, of 2nd state (of 2). Three tiny tears on the left side; two or three small stains; bande de papier sur le bord droit au verso. Watermark : armes d’Amsterdam and contremarque. Plate to a set of six “Mythologic landscapes”. […]
Petitjean and Wickert nr 183 (IV / VI). Very good impression of 4th state (of 6), with the date of 1658. Strip of paper added at foot masking the platemark; small ink stain on the back at foot, very barely visible on front and tiny tear (?) at top. Small margins.
I.F.F. nr8. Very good impression on simili japan paper, numbered, titled, signed and dated. Very tiny creases, mostly in the upper left angle; rests of mounting paper ont the back at top. Good margins. Edition of 50 impressions. View from the town hall quay in Paris withe the Saint Gervais church in the background.
Exhib “Piranèse et les français” nr 125 (II/II). Good impression of 2nd state (of 2), with Naudet’s address. Rests of paper on the back; some rubbing traces. Small margins.
Rivière undescribed ? Very good impression on china paper applied, titled, signed and dated, with a dedicacion at foot. Slight oxidation of the sheet. Good margins.
Good impression in colors of the time. Some rare stains, mostly marginal; slight oxidation. Small margins. “Place royale” in Paris become “place des Vosges”.
I.F.F. nr 315 (II/II). Very good impression. Some skillful small repairs in the sky. Rare skinned paper areas in the letter; two or three tiny repairs in the letter and tiny stains. Small margins or thread margins on three edges.
Exhib “Brebiette” nr 3. I.F.F. nr 238. Good impression trimmed at the platemark, of the only state (?). Stains at top; slight thin paper area at top. Rare.
Harris nr 234. Very good impression on laid paper of the 3rd edition (of 7), published by Loizelet in 1876. Some handling creases; some tiny marginal foxings. Wide margins. Plate to the set of “Tauromachie”.
cf Hollstein nr 192-193. Very good impression trimmed in the platemark. Very tiny wormhole; very slight vertical median crease and rests of mounting paper on the back. To a set of four “Dessins pour plats décorés”.
Goncourt nr 1 Dacies and Vuaflart nr 130 (V/VII). Very good impression of 4th state (of 6), with the letter and the retouching by Simonneau, but before Chéreau’s address. Small margins.
I.F.F. nr 86-2. Very good impression on laid paper published in the “Société des Aquafortistes” during 1864. Slight oxidation on the edges of the margins; a slight small break at center, mostly visible on the back; some slight marginal creases. Wide margins. Dry stamp of the editor Cadart and Luquet.
