I.F.F. nr 40. Good impression of the first state (of 2), before the flower garland and the complete letter. Some very short tears on the edges, the most important 6mm inlet on the platemark; many creases mainly soft; slight stains. Thread margins or small margins. Watermark : name of paper manufacturer (D. Tamizier).
P. de Baudicour nr 6; Wildenstein nr 3. Very good impression trimmed in the platemark, of the only state. Tiny rousseurs éparses, mostly visible on the back; tiny vertical fold of print and very slight diagonal crease. First plate to the set of four “Bacchanales”.
cf I.F.F. nr 1-12 (lacuna). Very good impression. Plate to a set of “livre de paysages” with twelve plates. Youth work, our engraving anticipates the romantic landscape from the end of the century and the following century.
Robert-Dumesnil nr 61 (V/V). Very good impression trimmed at the platemark of the last state. Some slight creases. Seventh plate to a set for pour the “Roman comique” by Scarron of which only part was engraved by the artist.
Exhib. “German Printmaking…” nr 9. Good impressions irregularly trimmed at the subject, of the only state (?). The engraved subjects seem just about complete but the margins of platemarks were trimmed; laid down. Complete set.
