Plumart et Trumeau-Rydelynck n°306. Belle épreuve d’état sur vergé, largement complétée au crayon noir, annotée et signée. Oxydation surtout visible au verso; taches marginales et au verso. Bonnes marges. Rare. Notre épreuve largement reprise par l’artiste anticipe l’état final, qui fera partie d’une suite de douze illustrant l’album “Londres”.
Robert-Dumesnil nr 17 (II/II). Very good impression of 2nd state (of 2). Some vertical creases; rare small stains on the back. Thread margins. Second plate to the set of “Mystères de la vie de Jésus Christ”.
De Pissarro à Picasso nr 136. Very good impression on laid paper, printed in colors at the location, annotated 1er état and titled. Slight oxidation of the sheet on the back; some handling creases and small defects on the edges of the good margins. Rare. The second state n’a été tiré qu’à 25 impressions.
I.F.F. nr 86-2. Very good impression on laid paper published in the “Société des Aquafortistes” during 1864. Slight oxidation on the edges of the margins; a slight small break at center, mostly visible on the back; some slight marginal creases. Wide margins. Dry stamp of the editor Cadart and Luquet.
Bartsch nr 4; Brown nr 5 (I/V). Very good impression of the first state (of 5), before F. van Wyngaerde’s initials. Slight oxidation of the sheet, a few creases and tiny small defects. Small margins. Watermark : small cross in a oval (?).
Bartsch nr 3; Brown nr 13. Good impression of the only state. A few thin paper areas and stains, essentially in the angles, small marginal lacuna in the lower left corner and vertical median crease. Thread margins. Collector’s (?) or price indication with pen in the lower right corner. Watermark : madness.
Bartsch nr 7; Brown nr 6 (I/II). Good impression trimmed into the platemark, of first state (of two), before the publisher’s initial. A few slight creases; repaired tear of approximately 40 mm at left; small repair at lower right and at the tip of an angle. Watermark : heraldic lily in a crowned circle.
