Hollstein nr 4. Very good impression irregularly trimmed at the platemark, of 2nd state (of 3). Small tear of about 20mm repaired, in the upper left corner, tiny other small defects. Fourth plate in a series of twelve “Horses”. Ex collection Camesina de Pornal (Lugt 429) and A. P. van den Briel (Lugt 407a).

Dessin titré en bas à droite. Frédéric Faber, peintre d’animaux et de paysages, fonda une fabrique de porcelaines and was nommé peintre sur porcelaine de la Cour. Provenance : chevalier Camberlyn (selon une annotation au verso). Some rare piqûres; slight oxidation.

Titled at foot on center. Annotated on the back by a main “recent” : “6 modèles ayant servi pour des assiettes commandées par le Roi de Hollande”. Rares piqûres and slight oxidation.
