XVIIIth century reissue of the famous technical treatise on engraving by Abraham Bosse. In-8°, bound in marbled brown sheepskin. Corners and lower cap strongly blunt; skinned areas on last flat. Vertical wormhole in lower part of pages 34 to 48. Beautiful copy in used condition as often. Full of 21 plates and of frontispiece. This edition is augmented of the plate in meezzotint, by pencil and by wash.
