Hollstein n°102 (V/V). Très belle épreuve du dernier état, avec les derniers travaux. Quelques petites amincissures on the edges, one slightly tear at upper left; tiny marginal tear; some rare small stains and slight marginal oxidation. Filigrane : paper maker’s name. Ex collection R.P. Goldschmidt (Lugt 292) et B. Keller (Lugt 384). D’un format plus grand as usual, van Everdingen associe à ce paysage, mouvementé et chargé la quiétude du personnage assis à gauche. Les peintures and northern landscape of van Everdingen inspirèrent les artistes romantiques allemands et norvégiens. Goethe copia cette gravure en 1781. Our impression provient de deux grands collectionneurs de l’école hollandaise.
