Delteil nr 65 (II). Delteil-Strauber nr 65 (II/VII). Very good impression on wove paper of 2nd state (of 7), with Motte’s address and bearing du certificat de tirage. Some slight small foxings mainly marginal; handling creases, mainly marginal. Rare. Our impression bears the stamp of censorship, à la date du 6 février 182(8) and signed by pen par ou pour le chef de la Librairie. The publication of “Faust” was actualy announced in February 1828.
