I.F.F. unndescribed. The portraits would be engraving by Bonvallet and the decor by Janinet. Very good and very rare impression on silk, probably trimmed à l’intérieur de la marque du cuivre, printed in colors and gold. Slightly insolée (?), frottement de la soie en bas à droite; insertet dans un sous-verre (non examiné hors de celui-ci). Very rare. Only a few impressions of this estampe sont conservées. We found trace of two other impressions passées par le marché de l’art (Hôtel Drouot 25 novembre 1955, nr 152 and catalogue Shab Gallery, s.d, nr 62). Several artists ont collaboré pour l’exécution de cette gravure. This estampe would have served to decorate an allegorical case for the birth of Dauphin imagined by Gautier-Dagoty and Pillement. This estampe formed the top of this box.
