Claude GELLÉE called Le Lorrain – La Danse villageoise (large plate), ca 1637

L. Mannocci nr 20 (III/IV). Good impression trimmed at the platemark of 3e state (of 4), the plate used as usual, but before the last works. Two diagonal creases at right, mostly visible on the back; amincissures à la pointe des angles gauches and some rare other small defects. Probably italian edition, end of XVIIe or beginning of XVIIIth century, of this plate uncommon.
