Herman van SWANEVELT – Abraham and the three angels, ca 1630

Hollstein nr 1 (I?/II). Very good impression with the white tablet at foot trimmed, but very probably of the first state (of 2), before Mariette’s address. Small tear (?) in the sky at left; a slight horizontal crease and vertical; fixed by dots of glue around the edge. First plate to a set of “Subjects of the Old Testament”.
